Jon joined Video River Networks with the acquisition of the STB business from Eagle Broadband in October 2007. At Video River Networks, Jon has been responsible for managing the design, development, production, and commercialization of the IP3000 and IP6000, also providing technical support for customers. Jon was Vice President of Engineering at Eagle from 1997 until the acquisition in 2007. At Eagle, Jon developed the IP5000, the first HD set top box placed into the hospitality industry in 2005. During his tenure, he was responsible for managing a staff of hardware and software engineers, establishing relationships with overseas manufacturing partners, and overall project management. He also was responsible for preparing budgets and financial reports for his department. From 1991 – 1997, Jon was the Electronics Engineering Manager for W&H Development where he directed design and production efforts for oil & gas wellhead electronics. From 1989-1991 Jon served as an Electronics Engineer at Lockheed Engineering in Houston, Texas where he designed an RF Interface Control System used in the Electronic Systems Test Laboratory at the Johnson Space Center. Jon graduated from Northeastern University in Boston with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
